My vacation is almost over, and I'm catching the 23:00 flight tonight (UTC+8:00 time) with Malaysia Airlines, and to be honest, I don't really want to go back home.
My vacation in Malaysia and Thailand was great and did lots of pawsome things, e.g. lagoon water park, visiting KL tower, enjoying myself on the islands in the north of Malaysia, etc.
But towards the end of my vacation, I've been thinking about how more mundane my life is back at home. I think I'm going to get post-travel depression when I get back home, and jetlag certainly won't help, in fact it's going to be much worse returning home than arriving in Malaysia, as it's an over night flight and I couldn't sleep on the flight over to Malaysia from London as I couldn't get comfortable, and there was a lot of turbulence.
I'm going to miss a lot of things when I get back home, e.g. I'm going to miss coconut water, and I love coconuts, and it's not the same back home. Also I'm kinda used to the rainforest heat, so it will feel cold and dry when I return, and I'm going to miss the friends I've made in Malaysia, and to me they are like my second family.
I'm starting to have signs of post-travel depression and I hope I recover quickly.
I can picture myself listening to soul and disco music (especially Lou Rawls' "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine" single) while on holiday in the islands resorts in Malaysia, and I can't stop listening to this track right now XD
My area is going to get impacted by Storm Doris tomorrow. The Met Office has issued an amber warning for most of the district that I live in, and according to this, the wind speed in my area is supposed to peak at 57mph (92km/h).
